Add Access Point Names (APNs)
In order to be able to use the mobile data network and the MMS services on the realme smartphone, the corresponding APNs (Access Point Names) of the provider must first be configured.
Normally, the access point names (APNs) are configured automatically, which is done via a configuration message from the provider, which in individual cases must be confirmed or saved.
If no automatic configuration is performed, the APN data can be added manually. The correct data should be found in the SIM card documentation or on the mobile network provider's website.
- Tap on Settings
- Tap on SIM card & mobile data
- Choose a SIM card (Dual SIM)
- Tap on Access point names
- Tap on Add
- Enter the Corresponding data and tap Save
Delete Access Point Names (APNs)
Incorrectly created or no longer required access point names or APN settings can be removed from the realme smartphone at any time.
Note: When changing the mobile network provider, we recommend deleting the old access points.
- Tap on Settings
- Tap on SIM card & mobile data
- Choose a SIM card (Dual SIM)
- Tap on Access point names
- Open the Menu
- Tap on Delete APN
Reset Access Point Names (APNs)
The realme smartphone offers the option to reset all APN settings. This removes all superfluous access point names and only keeps the required settings that are relevant for the respective SIM card.
