Realme 3 Pro screen is headed "From phone storage and I cannot get to the app screen

My phone was working normally last night. It was closed down last night. When I turned it on this morning it just showed a blank screen except for a heading at the top which read From phone storage.  I touched those words and the word files/ then appeared. Nothing else appears to be happening. I have tried to close the phone but it will not react to the close down button. What can I do?
