The picture-in-picture feature on the Xiaomi smartphone allows an app to overlay itself on top of another app in a floating window or pop-up, for example, to continue playing a video via Netflix while replying to a message.
Picture-in-picture access is allowed by default, but it can be rejected at any time.

- Tap on Privacy protection
- Tap on Special permissions
- Tap on Picture-in-picture
- Choose an app
- Enable or disable Allow Picture-in-picture
