Xiaomi Pocophone F1 No internet on 4g and service

Tried all basics to make sure it’s working and it made no difference. Checked APN and mobile data turned on. Aeroplane mode off. Not on power save. Network EE for BT. Get service so can make calls but no internet so can’t text or message or google. Even in towns where have good signal on old phone with same sim that could connect to the internet.

Also had trouble downloading big apps from google playstore on our wifi which didn’t happen with old iPhone.
