Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC google assistant won’t respond when screen is locked

Ronli Hello,
the google assistant will not respond to “ok google”, or ”hey google” when screen in locked.
how can i fix this problem? So whole point of it is to be hands free, and its not working properly.

Did you check if Google Assistant has all the required permissions?
You could also check in the settings of the Google app if a request is always allowed.
