Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite Ring Tone
After Android 10 update can't change ring Tone. The ring Tone is displayed as my custom one but a generic bleep rings. When I select ringtone on the Sound screen it either returns to the home screen or the app stops working.

This seems to be a system error, the question is whether it is a general update problem or whether it is your system.
You could try a factory reset to rule out that it is your system.
