Oukitel WP5 Pro Why is my WP5 not allowing Mobile Data or connecting via 4G?
I cannot seem to get my phone to connect to 4G even though I have selected it in the Network Settings. As a possible result of this (according to the AT&T associate that tried to help me), I cannot access my Mobile Data on this phone. Any suggestions or fixes for this would be greatly appreciated. As an added note, the SIM card that was installed was reduced to a nano-SIM by the AT&T Associate. It was an older SIM, but he checked the phone and was able to use Text functions and make calls. It also works fine for Data when connected to Wifi. It appears the only real issues are the lack of Mobile Data and 4G connectivity.

Hello Dursk!
Have you checked if you can connect via 3G or does that not work either?
Are the correct APNs entered?
Greetings!
I have phone and text via 3G, but no Data. The AT&T associate said that the APNs were properly set, but I wouldn't know if he was wrong in that regard or not.
Hello Dursk!
You could try checking or re-creating the APN settings to be sure.
Another solution could be band compatibility. Has anyone checked if the Oukitel is compatible with the provider's bands?
Best regards!
My WP5 is Band compatible with my provider, but it was brought to my attention last night that the SIM I'm using is my original Card from 2009. I'll be going back to the provider today to get a new SIM and hopefully that will correct the issue. After your response yesterday I re-checked the APN setup on the provider's site and was able to verify that it was all correctly entered on my device. If the new SIM corrects the issue I'll be sure to update you. Thank you for your help so far! I definitely appreciate it.
Hello Dursk!
Yes, it could be due to an outdated SIM card, which, to be honest, I hadn't thought of.
Thanks for your feedback.
Best wishes!

Issue fixed! Turns out that the SIM was not the issue (upgraded it anyway). The Provider's network didn't recognize my hardware. After exhausting all other options, the Associate was struck with inspiration and made a last-ditch attempt to correct the problem.
The fix: The associate went into the system and listed my Oukitel WP5 as a Samsung. Immediately Ihad access to 4G and Data Usage! I thank you again for your help with this situation and hope that my bizarre fix can help others in the future. : )
