first thing first, not all apps are able to switch to the SD card, so if you don't see a button for it, you can't move it.
- Open the settings
- Tap on Apps¬ifications
- Tap on See all (x) Apps
- Choose the app you want to move
- Tap Storage
- If possible, tap Change

Rc2323 The lg k40 does not have the option of moving the apps to thesdcard. In otherwords, the spot where there is supposed to be a change button greyed out to change storage location doesnt even show up. Ive tried now on 67 different apps and none are allowed to be moved on this phone.
