Archos Core 57S Ultra Phone wonky start

Meythoj When I press the start button I have to keep it pressed for much longer than normal...the starting routine eventually kicks in...the screen lights briefly and then goes black. It receives an incoming call - it rings but I can’t answer because the screen is black.
